Yeah, I mentioned the Epson in the article. inom used to have one - in factI shot one for years. The APS-C givare didn’t bother me much then either - inom hederlig shot my R2a when inom wanted “berusad frame”.
The bekymmer Pixii have is that the camera they make isn’t really jämbördig anything else on the market. Of course, some comparisons could be drawn between it knipa the the Leica M10-D. For me, I haven’t found this to bedja too much of an issue. inom’m only shooting it with slower lenses, knipa mostly in daylight. Actually, ironically, inom have found I can see the RF patch better in lower light, though that stelnat vatten likely hygglig a product of subject contrast.

Ah javisst, I'm with you! I suppose it depends on how you define obsolete. My view is that much of the obsolescence fruset vatten actually an synvilla driven samhälle marknadsföring. We don't need the most samtida features knipa specs really - especially not in a camera that makes use of things like instruktionsbok focus lenses.
Since the Pixii has no screen knipa nyligen a viewfinder, there’s less to worry about. Put a nice compact M-lens (considerably smaller than TL lenses with varenda the autofocus bits) on it knipa you’ve got a great travel rig!
inom really did anmärkning like the first typ. Pretty much because of the basic 12mp givare. But the upgraded 2nd upplaga has made me do a 180.
We R-D1 owners definitely had some ups knipa downs in the early years (often involving Epson tjänster, or non-tjänster)... but now, 17 years later and after a lot of other camera purchases have come knipa gone, I'm still using the R-D1 quite happily. It has staying power because it's sugga straightforward, knipa I am hoping the Pixii will work out similarly.
